Many Cambodian would-be activists express the concern "I don't want to be the only one speaking against the government." The not-so-surprising reality is that activists make use of nonviolent tactics and strategies every day. These are some of the more notable stories of nonviolent action in Cambodia.
Over time fuller case studies of these nonviolent campaigns will be posted in the Global Nonviolent Action Database, a project of Swarthmore College, including Peace and Conflict Studies, the Peace Collection, and the Lang Center for Civic and Social Responsibility.
